
Evon LaRiese-Davis is an author, motivational speaker, and the force behind SarahAlexanderFitness.com, the lifestyle and weight management Web site for the woman who wants to be “Fit After 40 and Fabulous After 50.”
Like many women, poor eating habits and lack of physical activity led to weight gain over the years. Evon eventually embarked upon a quest to regain control of her body. Eating a balanced diet and participating in regular physical activity became the key components of her quest towards a healthier body. She founded SarahAlexanderFitness.com and wrote her first book, "101 Steps to a Fitter You! A Common Sense Approach to a Healthier Lifestyle," to help others do the same.
Evon is committed to helping women meet their weight management goals through a realistic plan. She is not a nutritionist or a clinician but an everyday woman who has decided to reclaim her body. Evon’s philosophy is simple: “By eating the right foods, increasing cardiovascular activity and building muscle, you will burn fat.” She walked in her first half-marathon at the age of 53 and has since completed two more half-marathons. Evon is Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) Telefitness Exercise Systems certified.
Evon is available to speak at women’s conferences, in professional venues, at schools and universities, and in faith-based settings. She addresses the entire woman - - - her body, her nutrition and her spirit. The audience will leave refueled and ready to become “Fit After 40 and Fabulous After 50.”
